CASEY

Sometimes a band just comes around and really grabs you by the ears and won't let you go. For us here at Evo, CASEY are one such band. We asked singer Gary McDowell how the band came about:

The band originally formed in January this year [2013]. I decided that the solo thing was getting a bit lonely, it wasn't going anywhere and I needed a change. So I enrolled a good friend of mine Ryan Kane who had helped me out in live gigs playing the drums for my solo music. We then set out to find other musicians and that's where we found Dan Thompson (Guitar) and Greg Workman (Bass) thus Casey was complete!

The name came about from a band that Ryan was in years ago and I helped out in called Casey Shellshock. It reminded us of a pretty good time in our lives where we wore stupid clothes, had crazy hair and the only thing we had to worry about was what bus to get home. So it was an easy decision to name the band after such amazing memories.
