Roy Moller

Roy Moller was born in Edinburgh, grew up in Leith, has studied and worked and made music in Glasgow and now lives in Dunbar. Roy released his first solo single, Maximum Smile in 2003 on Hamburg label Felicite Singles Club. Further singles and the albums Speak When I'm Spoken To and Playing Songs No One's Listening To garnered enthusiastic reviews as Roy's reputation gradually grew. "A week ago I'd never heard of him, now I'm his biggest fan," enthused BBC 6Music's Marc Riley as he gave Roy's Byres Road Saturday one of several spins on his show. Roy has played sessions in his own right and as a member of Scottish supergroup Jesus, Baby! led by Davy Henderson. Roy has also collaborated with Stevie Jackson on several Belle & Sebastian songs and the guitarist's solo material, such as Seymour Stein and Man Of God, on which Moller duets with Jackson. writing freakbeat 45 Daddy Was A Mod In The RAF and backing The Poets' George Gallacher on his last single.

Of Moller's 2012 album, The Singing's Getting Better, the Daily Record said, "This is a beautiful, well crafted album that soars ever higher with joy at every play." Receiving airplay from Riley and Gideon Coe, the album cemented Moller's reputation as, in the words of Pennyblackmusic, "one of Scotland's most original contemporary songwriters".

Roy had released two albums on Stereogram in 2014: One Domino, ("a strong contender for album of the year. 9/10." Louder than War) and the just-released My Week Beats Your Year, the soundtrack to Moller's current Fringe show which merges his love for The Velvet Underground and the streets of Edinburgh in unique fashion.

Erin Todd

A "silk- tongued native", "a voice that actually made my teeth rattle with sheer depth at points", "a fine Scottish Singer-songwriter". Just some of the lovely comments made upon hearing Glasgow based, songstress Erin Todd live. Having gigged relentlessly all over the UK, supported a host of noteworthy artists & released two independent EPs, Erin has spent the last 8 months writing and demoing tracks for her debut album due for release in 2015. "There are no histrionics or flashing lights, just an expressive and seemingly effortless vocal range that interacts with her fluent guitar work." -Kevin Hewick (Factory Records)

adullboy

ravechild - He covers topics such as comic book heroes and 80's nostalgia with a pathos that engages the audience. He even closes his set by getting the crowd to sing along to the chorus of his song, which points out that no one is listening to him and they are more interested in buying drinks at the bar. It's a sure fire way to make sure everyone is listening to him.

god is in the tv - His often dark and self-deprecating lyrics are delivered over his acoustic guitar and made for a jovial start to the day.

itsaxxxxthing - With his songs he's tentatively exploring the social commentary style of the punk poets, but keeping it all within the framework of the indie troubadour, and it's this partial shading that is allowing him to embrace a sound, that while familiar, has a bit more of an edge to it than the material that many of his peers are releasing.

Lynzie Dray

Lynzie is a singer/songwriter based in West Lothian, who is an acoustic playing little songbird. Her sound has been described as a mix of simple Joni Mitchell harmonies combined with the heart and soul of Janis Joplin. Lynzie just sings from the soul and writes from the heart. A wee lass with a broken smile looking to make lullabies
