Exciting times indeed for Edinburgh based singer songwriter Megan D, as she has made her way to the final of the international Unsigned Only competition, with the potential of a $10,000 prize, or $1,000 and lots of other great prizes.

The panel judging the finalists includes luminaries such as Iggy Pop, Carly Simon, Cyndi Lauper and Black Francis to name but a few.

Unsigned Only is a unique music competition designed for solo artists, bands, and singers all over the world who are not signed to a major label record company or any of its affiliates, subsidiaries, or imprints. The goal of Unsigned Only is to find an outstanding, talented performer: a band, singer, or solo artist...a newcomer or veteran...raw or polished - the gem that needs to be discovered. Unsigned Only is looking for the total package.

Winners are announced at the end of August, so we at Evo are wishing Megan all the best and ask all of you to keep your fingers crossed for her!

On 20th July 2013 we hosted "One Night In Rio", at The Rio Cafe. Seven fantastic artists played and it was the perfect cool down to a hot, hot day. Megan D, Nik Garcia, Sophie Rogers, Martin Livingstone, Christine Bovill, Genesee, CS Buchan and Friends

On the 3rd of March, 2011, we organised an event to raise money for Comic Relief - "Get Your Noses Out". Robert Bowden, Dean Tajwar, Bruce Nicol and Rufus & Ben provided a great night of comedy and music.

Evo4Promotions is based in Glasgow. It was inspired by a love of local bands and good company. We do this for the love of fun, not money.
