LIVE IS BETTER #2

Evo4 have teamed up with Roxy 171 to present a monthly showcase of what we feel are some of the best up and coming artists.

Lynsey Craig

Lyndsey fell in love with music from a very young age with inspiration from her father, also a musician. His music taste got Lyndsey hooked on classic rock n roll. Her father taught her the basics of guitar at the age of 8 and the first song she learnt to play was one of her favourites, 'Twist and Shout' by The Beatles. At the age of 11 her parents paid for a guitar tutor. He had a very strong liking for Joni Mitchell and from there on Lyndsey had been introduced and influenced by the world of folk music. In the Summer of 2011 Lyndsey started up a YouTube channel and recorded covers of her favourite songs. This proved a great success for her and a fan base started to grow.

Writing songs from a very young age and performing at every possible gig has developed Lyndsey's talents to a stage where she is filling well known venues in and around Edinburgh.
