Mayor Stubbs E.P. is the new release from Gargleblast Records.

What hits you instantly with this collection of tracks is the amazingly intricate guitar playing. Mayor Stubbs has the ability to blow your mind with his style, and the songs just build and build to become the soundtrack in your head as they weave their way inside.

The 4 alternative folk tracks on the E.P. were recorded in two days during January 2015 at Gargleblast studio. The E.P is a raw and honest portrayal of the Mayor Stubbs sound, captured intimately by producer Andy Miller (Mogwai, Life Without Buildings, De Rosa, Martin John Henry, Songs Ohia, Sons and Daughters).

Combining subtle folk elements, guitar virtuosity and infectious sing-along choruses, Mayor Stubbs EP presents a uniquely explosive approach to acoustic songwriting.

On 20th July 2013 we hosted "One Night In Rio", at The Rio Cafe. Seven fantastic artists played and it was the perfect cool down to a hot, hot day. Megan D, Nik Garcia, Sophie Rogers, Martin Livingstone, Christine Bovill, Genesee, CS Buchan and Friends

On the 3rd of March, 2011, we organised an event to raise money for Comic Relief - "Get Your Noses Out". Robert Bowden, Dean Tajwar, Bruce Nicol and Rufus & Ben provided a great night of comedy and music.

Evo4Promotions is based in Glasgow. It was inspired by a love of local bands and good company. We do this for the love of fun, not money.
